Join us for a day making sand bag planters - All ages welcome!
Help us on Saturday, 19 June 2021 to create exciting new fen habitat as part of our 'Restoring the Swale & Ure Washlands' project, funded by the Green Recovery Challenge Fund.
The new habitat we create will provide homes for birds, fish and invertebrates for years to come, and may even attract rare species such as common crane and spotted crake!
We will be creating sand bag planters filled with specialist fenland species. The bags will be left for a few months to expand their rootstocks and planted out on the shores of Flasks Lake later this year.
