The Lower Ure Conservation Trust couldn’t achieve what it does without our fantastic team of volunteers.

Our volunteers help in our plant nursery, look after our Nature Reserve, undertake practical conservation such as hedge laying and scrub control, and help with our monitoring and survey programme. Most of what we do wouldn’t be possible without them.

Volunteers come from all walks of life. From retired people after a new challenge, to students and young people looking to widen their experience and aid their first step into work. The one thing our volunteers have in common is a willingness to put their time, energy and skills into caring for nature. And everyone is welcome!
