Get a closer look at the wildlife that calls Nosterfield Nature Reserve it’s home - All ages welcome!
We’re bringing you a double whammy of Nosterfield nature! You’ll have the chance to see bird ringing in action, as well get an up close look at a fascinating array of moths.
Bird ringing will be taking place by the dipping pond all morning - starting 8am!
Moth traps will be set overnight and opened in the morning by Yorkshire county moth recorder, Charlie Fletcher. We’ll be by the main hide in the reserve car park - NOW CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER.

The event is taking place on Sunday, 22 August 2021, from 8am onwards. Drop-in any time.

This event is weather dependent. If there is heavy rain forecast overnight, we will not be able to run the traps. Please check the website for updates before arrival.
