Cutting & raking path side banks at Nosterfield Nature Reserve
For the next community work day we will be cutting and raking vegetation on some sections of the bank above the silt lagoons. Sections of the bank are cut on rotation to maintain a variation in sward height and species. This is an important habitat for butterflies and pollinators on the reserve.
If we get through that quickly, there is also some willow coppicing that can be done.
We’ll be meeting at the Nosterfield Nature Reserve main reserve car park at 10:00am (see address & link below).

The event is taking place on Saturday 5th March 2022, from 10:00am until around 12:30pm.
All ages welcome!
Gloves & equipment will be provided
Wear sensible footwear and clothes you don't mind getting dirty
