In April, Conservation club will be going on a tour of Nosterfield Quarry site, finding out more about the work of the Lower Ure Conservation Trust, the wildlife we see and how we manage the site for nature and biodiversity. There will also be some practical conservation tasks to work on!
Work with hand tools, learn about wildlife, develop practical conservation skills AND have fun!
EVENT DETAILS
The event is taking place on Saturday 13th April, from 10am - 1pm
This event is for 14-18yr olds, but parents can accompany children if they wish
Gloves & equipment will be provided
We’ll have a tea break mid-morning, so bring a thermos or other drinks if you want them
Wear sensible footwear, clothes you don't mind getting dirty and a waterproof if rain is forecast
