Conservation Club

Conservation Club: April

For our April conservation club we’ll be finding out more about moths, habitat management AND doing some practical conservation!

Starting off with moth trapping, you’ll have the chance to take a closer look at moths caught overnight on the reserve and identify them. In last year’s April conservation club, we had a species that hadn’t been recorded before at Nosterfield.

Emma Higgs, LUCT Project manager, will talk about the different habitats on the reserve and and how the Lower Ure Conservation Trust manages them for nature and biodiversity. There will also be some practical conservation tasks to work on!
