For our next community workday, we'll be pulling ragwort on the Thornborough henges.
LUCT is working with English Heritage to restore the rare ancient limestone flora which has been present on the monument since it’s construction 4,500 years ago. Although ragwort it is a native plant and is beneficial for wildlife, it can quickly take over grassland areas if not controlled and this will put the rare limestone flora at risk.
