For our next community workday, we'll be planting on Thornborough henges.
LUCT is working with English Heritage to restore the rare ancient limestone flora which has been present on the monument since it’s construction 4,500 years ago. For this community work day, we’ll be planting on repaired areas of the central henge.
Event Details:
Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing that is appropriate for the weather conditions, including a waterproof if rain is forecast.
Please bring a drink or flask.
Gloves and equipment will be provided, but if you have a trowel and kneeler please bring them along!
Drinks and snacks mid-morning will be provided
Where to meet:
We’ll meet at the entrance gates to the central henge. There is layby parking available by the entrance.
